ORPHANAGE<\/h2><\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>For over three decades this unique place was home to thousands of abandoned children.<\/p>\n
The Noel Orphanage was huge, its buildings sprawled across acres of land. It was like a separate community, private from neighbouring villages, overcrowded with hundreds of children and managed by dozens of staff.<\/p>\n
At times numbers peaked over 600 residents so a lot of space was needed. Buildings were added on over the decades to cater for the increasing numbers of children.<\/p>\n<\/div>
