Girls Dorms

Senior and junior girls dormitories were adjacent to each other by the main entrance to the orphanage. Rooms were overcrowded and lack of storage space a problem.

Things improved around 2011 when the junior block was rebuilt and all dormitories benefitted from extra beds and wardrobes. For a girl, moving up to a senior dorm was a big step as she no longer had to share bed space with other children and could at least have a mattress to herself.
